I like travelling, I have been to the south of Chile in many occasions, and I think it is wonderful. I really love his colors, his nature, and how the people are in it, I mean more relaxed and friendly. I think there is another pace of life, more peaceful. I would like to visit north of Chile too, but I haven’t had the chance.Nevertheless, I have always wanted to visit Italy. I don’t know exactly since when I start to want it, I can say that I want it since about 8 years ago. I would like to visit Italy because my grandparents were Italian, and I really would know the customs and cultures characteristics of this country.  I know they lived in a little town called Citá ducale that in English means Duke´s town.I would like to know this place, and if I like it, I really would like live there for a time, maybe working or studying, I don’t know, all of these details depend of the moment.  In fact, I used to saving money in a piggy bank for my trip to Italy, but recently I change my mind, because this year I have the chance to travel to New Zeeland. I break my piggy bank to count the money and now I’m working for save more.

To be honest, I have to say that I miss my piggy bank.

POST 5: ANIMALS AND PETS

I’ve considered myself an animal lover all my life, since I was little I used to dream about becoming a vet and spend my life surround of animals. I usually find myself thinking that animals are many times more kind than humans.

In fact, I’ve been vegetarian for around five years now, just because I can’t stand the fact that poor animals had to be kill for me to eat them, that it’s so mean.

I love all types of animals, I particularly love cats, fishes and axolotls, this last one it’s a very exotic animal from Mexico that I’ve met at the Zoo and immediately felt in love with.

I’ve had many pets in my life, and I’ve loved every one of them. Now days, I’ve a Cat his name it’s Julio :)

Julio has been living with me for around three years now. I and my girlfriend met Julio one night at the street in downtown; it was love at first sight.

Even though Julio was really skinny, dirty, and acted like a rough street cat when we met him, he has become a nice and cute domestic cat; he just needed some love and care to get better.

About the use of animals for human’s progress, I completely disagree. I think that the use of animals it’s most of the times unnecessary and cruel, many industries use animals when they could use technology to test their products, like the cosmetic industry.

I know that many people don’t feel about animals like I do, but I just can understand why would someone think that the skin of some other living being would look pretty on them? In fact i think fur coats are the ugliest thing ever.

I’ve never been bitten by anything but a spider, but I know that dogs and other animals might be very dangerous when they are keep in not right conditions.

About that I don’t think that the right solution it’s to banned or muzzled a dog or another animal, I think it could be a much better solution to created rules that sentence the people that don’t take care of their pet properly, like the rules that exist do in New Zealand.

Finally, If I could choose what to be in my next life, i would rather to be any animal that a human be, especially I would like to be a little bird to fly all over the world and sing the most beautiful song ever.

Striking Chilean teachers occupy preschools

This article is about a nationwide strike that stars about ten days ago. People who are strike are the educators who care a lot of Chilean children, between the ages of 3 month and 4 years. They work for Integra foundation, and they are looking for better condition for her and for children they care.  Integra is a non-profit foundation. Some of the points in discussion are about teacher-student ratios and organization’s pays structure. Integra plans to raise the student per teacher, and teachers think that this new policy will hurt children.

Workers of Integra care about 70.000 children, many of they come from low income families. The teachers strike says that more people are joining the movement because these things affect everyone equally. They are “standing strong” and waiting for swift answers, and they are hope for reach an agreement soon. If this happen, they will be able to come back to the preschools. They want to come quickly because they are aware for the responsibility that they have for the children of the preschools. Teachers really want to changes these things.  Unions also say that they are considering taking legal action, because the Foundation is not protecting psychological well-being of the children, and they must to considerate the physical and mental health too. 

Movies! What a nice word

I love watch movies everywhere.  Between watch movies at home or going to the cinema, I prefer go to the cinema. There is more exciting.

I can say that my favorite movie is “Fantastic Mr. Fox”. This is a stop-motion film based in a homonym book.  The director is Wes Anderson. I like his movies because he has a very special sense of colors and art. Other movies of this director are “The Royal Tenembaum” and more recently “Moonrise Kingdom”.

 Who stars in it? Well, in voices are Owen Wilson, Bill Murray, Meryl Streep and others, but the star is Mr. Fox.

Movie is about the history of Mr. Fox, Mrs. Fox (his wife) and their son. Mr. Fox is a very special fox, because he has a hobby, steal chickens of his neighbors. This family experiment a lot of thing that make this movie fanny and entertainment.  Mr. Fox say: “I’m a wild animal”. This feeling complicate their home life.

 I love the colors, and the drawing of this movie. I really have fan watching it.

I really recommend these movies to people who like cinema.
